What can kids do?
Did you ever hear about poverty and wish that you could do something to help? Has anybody ever said to you ‘you can’t do anything, you’re just a kid’?
The children at Bahay Tuluyan show us that even if you are only a child and don’t have very much money, you can help change the world.
What can you do? Here are some ideas that some of the children at Bahay Tuluyan came up with:
- Plant a tree
- Donate your old clothes to
charity
- Save your allowance for this
week and give it to charity
- Organize a car wash to raise
money for charity
- Join an advocacy campaign
about children's rights
- Attend a seminar about children's
rights
- Run a bike ride campaign for
children's rights
- Save your money to buy some
goods for donation

community

in another country

surroundings
