BACKGROUND

Bahay Tuluyan is a Filipino NGO working with children in need of special protection PILAK (Pinag Isang Lakas ng Kabataan or United Strength of Youth) is a group of young graduates of Bahay Tuluyan’s alternative education programs who formed into an advocacy group in November 2006.  The festival is their first major project and aims to draw attention to the plight of street children, particularly in relation to forced rescue.
