Bahay Tuluyan's Drop In Center in Manila is an open space for children, particularly those living or working on the street. The Drop In Center is a place where children can wash, rest, play, become involved in activities and access social services.
The objectives of the Drop In Center are to:
  • Provide a safe place for children in need of special protection to attend to their basic needs – bathing, washing, eating, resting and playing;
  • Provide ‘live-out’ case management for children in need of special protection with the aim of restoring their social functioning and allowing them to reintegrate into the community; and
  • Build the skills of children to enhance their ability to break free from the cycle of poverty.

The Drop In Center, which is located at Bahay Tuluyan's center in Manila, also includes 'Clare's Classroom'.  This classroom is a place where out-or-school or at-risk street children can participate in education programs to help them transition back into formal education.
