Bahay Tuluyan aims to increase the ability of individuals to become independent and self reliant. We also recognize the importance of ensuring that the organization is self reliant.

Accordingly we operate several social enterprises that provide opportunities for the young people we work with to receive training and income in a just and supportive context. Many of these projects also
generate funds to support our work and help us become more financially sustainable.

We recognize the importance of providing children with training and guidance about saving and managing money. Bahay Tuluyan requires that at least 50% of all money earned by children while living in one of Bahay Tuluyan’s shelter should go into a savings account set up in the child’s name.

Bahay Tuluyan seeks to adhere to Fairtrade principles across all of its social enterprises.
