Bahay Tuluyan

Bahay Tuluyan believes that in order to promote the rights of children, it is important not only to work with individual children at the micro scale but also to actively promote children’s rights in the wider community. Consequently, the organization is involved in various advocacy campaigns, research studies and community education.

Advocacy often occurs through partnership with or invitation from other organizations or networks. Bahay Tuluyan often participates in research with partners but also conducts its own research, particularly in conjunction with the Participatory Research Team. Training normally takes the form of community education. This is often delivered by the graduates of Bahay Tuluyan’s Alternative Education programs or as part of the practicum of Alternative Education candidates.
